Introduction
This paper explores different aspects encompassing this technology, including the significance of biogas as a renewable energy source, the basic principles of biogas production, and the integration of solar heating in temperature-controlled systems. This review explores the advancements in solar technologies, encompassing production methods, storage systems, and their integration with renewable energy solutions. It examines the primary hydrogen production approaches, including thermochemical, photochemical, and biological methods. Hydrogen can be produced from biogas through various reforming processes, including steam reforming, dry reforming, and autothermal reforming. These methods involve reacting biogas, which is primarily methane and carbon dioxide, with steam or other reactants at high temperatures to produce a. This research paper explores biogas production in an underground temperature-controlled fixed dome digester and compares it with a similar uncontrolled digester. Two underground fixed-dome digesters, one fitted with a solar heating system and a stirrer and the other one with an identical stirrer. Biomass holds immense promise for augmenting existing energy reserves by converting it to low-carbon hydrogen for direct use in transportation, semiconductor manufacture, power plant cooling, and as a reactant for ammonia, foods, and high-value chemicals. In particular, biogas extracted from. This Special Issue on solar hydrogen production focuses on inno-vative approaches and emerging technologies to transform solar energy into H2 or derivative energy carriers via water splitting pathways; those discussed include photoelectrochemical, photo-catalytic, and thermochemical processes. The. Traditional green hydrogen production system based on biogas reforming dependent on high temperature condition during the reforming process; besides, biogas is always identified as a free energy resource in existing studies. This study develops a new way for green hydrogen production based on.
