With an ambitious target of 700 MW, the sector is expected to attract up to $1.8 billion in investments. Bahrain has received four competitive bids for a 44 MW solar PV power project in the Sakhir region, with proposals ranging from $36 million to $147 million. This venture, set to be developed on a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis, marks a strategic move in the Kingdom’s sustainable energy. His Excellency, Eng.
